University Verification Process for getting Higher Education in Gulf Countries

 Studying abroad opens a lot of new opportunities for students. Students gain a lot of exposure to the outside world, different cultures by studying abroad. Canada, the US, UK, the Middle East countries are the most sought after countries by Indian students for getting a higher education. The Gulf countries have one of the best universities and schools in the world. So every year thousands of students immigrate to Gulf countries like the UAE, Abu Dhabi, Oman, Qatar, and Saudi, etc.

Unlike other countries, the Gulf countries have strict immigration rules. All the immigrants are expected to follow these rules. You can only use authenticated personal, educational, and commercial documents in the Gulf countries. Attested documents are required for many purposes like getting admission to universities and schools, employment purposes, residential or family visa, and other verification purposes.

Educational documents should be attested for getting a student visa to the Gulf countries. University verification is mandatory for attesting educational documents. The educational documents are verified from the respective Board/University for authentication purposes. It helps to prove that the education document was issued by the mentioned university or board in the document.

Educational documents are attested from the respective state HRDs. University verification is needed before submitting the certificates to the state HRD departments. For example, for Kerala issued documents, the HRD attestation is handled by the NORKA. The educational documents that require attestation are submitted after the verification. Otherwise, the documents are not accepted.

After the state HRD attestation, the documents are attested by the Ministry of External Affairs [MEA]. Then, the certificates are submitted to the concerned embassy of the Gulf countries in India for attestation.
