GAMCA
or GCC Approved Medical Centers Association tests
are mandatory for anyone travelling to GCC countries. GAMCA Medical
centres are situated everywhere around the world. You are required to
pass the medical tests before entering any of the GCC countries for
the purpose of employment.
Gulf
Cooperation Council (GCC), the Cooperation Council for the Arab
States of the Gulf countries is a union consisting of all Arab states
of the Persian Gulf except Iraq. There are a total of 6 GCC countries
that requires gamca for visa approval. They are UAE,
Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Qatar,
Kuwait
and Oman.
GAMCA
medical tests are conducted by GCC countries to check the physical
and mental health of the individuals and to ensure that they are fit
to carry out their job functions. GAMCA medical tests include
clinical examination, medical history, laboratory analysis and
psychiatric tests. It is done to prevent any contagious virus or
other diseases from spreading and to protect the nationals of GCC
countries. Any person who is planning to travel to GCC countries with
the intention of employment has to pass the GAMCA tests first for
visa approval.
GAMCA
is a mandatory requirement for getting a work visa in any of the GCC
countries. The Gamca medical report issued for the purpose of getting
or approving a visa shall be valid for a period of two months. The
medical tests are conducted to all individuals from 16 years old and
over with a submission of a vaccination card.
If
your medical tests are negative, then you will not be allowed to
enter the country and your visa will be marked as unfit.
